Panera Bread Bowl

      Yesterday I felt like getting Panera for lunch, b/c I thought I would switch it up a little. When I walked in they were advertising their soups in bread bowls and since I was particularly hungry I ordered the black bean soup bread bowl and a side salad.











      Now, the bread bowl was good, but the salad was phenomenal. Here is the description word-for-word from their website: "All-natural, antibiotic free chicken, romaine, wonton strips, a blend of fire-roasted edamame, red bell pepper and carrot tossed in a Thai Chili Vinaigrette. Topped with strips of seasoned grilled chicken, Thai cashews, fresh cilantro and a peanut drizzle." Alright the Thai chili vinaigrette and "peanut drizzle" were an exceptional touch, but EDAMAME!?! This is no ordinary salad, from a place that used to thrive on their ordinary salads. Touche Panera, tou-flippin'-che...
